Terms of Service
These terms explain how TaskGO PH works and the rules everyone agrees to follow. Please read them before creating an account.
1. About TaskGO PH and this agreement
TaskGO PH is an online marketplace for local tasks, services and jobs, starting in Pagadian City and Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines. It is operated by ZAMPLACE WEB PORTAL SERVICES (DTI Business Name No. 8517025, national scope), registered to Rich Win Monterola, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur. You can reach us through Contact.
By creating an account and agreeing during sign-up, you accept these Terms. Our Privacy Notice separately explains how we handle personal information.
TaskGO PH helps clients and taskers find each other, agree on work and keep a record of it. TaskGO PH is not the employer of taskers, is not a party to the agreement between a client and a tasker, and does not supervise or guarantee the work.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
- Give accurate information, keep your password private and use only your own account. One individual account can be used in both Client and Tasker mode.
- If you create a company account, you must be authorised to act for that business.
- Do not impersonate anyone or claim skills, licences, certifications or work history you do not have. Profile details are provided by members and are not verified by TaskGO PH unless clearly stated.
- Email verification and password recovery are not available yet. Keep your sign-in details safe.
3. Posting tasks and gigs
- A task is a client's request for work. A gig is a service a tasker offers. Describe the work, price, location and schedule honestly.
- Only post lawful work you are allowed to arrange. Do not post work that requires a licence or permit you or the tasker do not hold.
- Work photos must show your own work, or work you have permission to show. Do not include other people's private information, house numbers, faces without consent, or identity documents.
- Listings are public as soon as you post them. TaskGO PH may hide listings that break these Terms.
4. Offers, contracts and cash payments
- Offers, counteroffers and contracts on TaskGO PH record what the client and tasker agree: scope, price, schedule and location. Agree on everything before work starts.
- Payments are made directly between the client and the tasker, in cash. TaskGO PH does not collect, hold, transfer or refund money, and does not offer escrow or payment protection.
- Cash acknowledgments (for example "cash received") are statements by the members. TaskGO PH does not independently verify that money changed hands.
- Any bonus or tip is handled directly between the people involved.
5. Cancellations and problems
- Either the client or the tasker can cancel an active (hired) contract and must give a reason. The other person is notified.
- A cancellation after hiring counts toward the Job Success Rate of the person who cancels, in their own role. If the reason is that the other person did not show up, or a safety concern, it counts against nobody until TaskGO PH staff review it and decide.
- When a public task's contract is cancelled, the task reopens for offers. A private direct-hire job closes instead.
- Use Report a problem on a contract for unfinished work, no-shows, cash disagreements, unsafe behaviour or suspected scams. Staff review reports and reply, but TaskGO PH cannot force a payment or refund because it never holds the money.
6. Ratings and reputation
- After completed work, the client and the tasker can each leave one rating and written feedback about the other.
- Feedback must reflect your own genuine experience. Do not buy, trade, fake or pressure anyone for ratings, and do not create accounts to manipulate rankings.
- Rankings, Job Success Rate and statistics are calculated from records on TaskGO PH and may not reflect work done elsewhere.
7. Company hiring
- Companies may post job vacancies. Applicants share their profile, answers and résumé privately with the company's authorised hiring team.
- Companies must use applicant information only for that recruitment, keep it confidential and follow Philippine labour and data privacy laws. Posting and applying are free during the current launch.
- A company hire or salary is an agreement between the company and the applicant, not with TaskGO PH.
8. Community rules
Do not use TaskGO PH to:
- scam, defraud, threaten, harass or exploit anyone, or ask for payment details, PINs or one-time passwords;
- post illegal, dangerous, sexual or discriminatory content or requests;
- discriminate on the basis of religion, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, disability, age or similar grounds;
- share someone else's private information without permission;
- spam, scrape data, bypass security or use automated tools without permission.
See the Safety & Community Guidelines for practical advice.
9. Your content and photos
You keep ownership of the content you post, such as listings, messages, feedback, work photos and profile photos. You give TaskGO PH permission to store, display, resize and moderate it as needed to run the service, according to the visibility you choose. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload. Gig work photos and profile photos are resized on your device before upload, which also removes location data stored in the photo.
10. Moderation and account restrictions
TaskGO PH may review reports, hide listings, remove photos, and restrict or close accounts that break these Terms, put others at risk, or where the law requires. Where appropriate we will tell you the reason. Serious fraud or safety issues may require immediate action.
11. Fees
TaskGO PH is free to use during the current launch. If we introduce fees in the future, we will announce them clearly before they apply, and they will never be charged without your knowledge.
12. Responsibility, changes and governing law
- Clients and taskers are responsible for the work they agree on, their own safety precautions, permits, taxes and any agreement they make with each other.
- TaskGO PH does its best to keep the service available and accurate, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or the truth of every member's statement. Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have under Philippine law that cannot be waived.
- We may update these Terms. Important changes will carry a new version date, and we will ask you to agree again where required.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
